Uplift Participant Acknowledgement and Disclaimer

By applying for or participating in the Uplift program, I acknowledge and agree that:

1. Uplift is an educational and business capability-building program designed to help businesses explore artificial intelligence (AI) opportunities through workshops, mentoring, peer learning and, where applicable, proof-of-concept or prototype support.
2. The program is provided by Peregian Digital Hub and Noosa Council with support from program funders, mentors, technical providers and delivery partners.
3. Any information, mentoring, guidance, recommendations, demonstrations, tools, outputs, prototypes or proof-of-concept support provided through the program are for general educational and exploratory purposes only and do not constitute legal, financial, accounting, tax, privacy, cybersecurity or other professional advice.
4. I remain solely responsible for my business decisions, including assessing the suitability, accuracy, legality and effectiveness of any AI tool, recommendation, workflow, output, prototype or proof of concept before relying on or implementing it.
5. AI technologies may produce inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable outputs, and participation in the program does not guarantee any particular business, financial, operational, compliance or technology outcome.
6. I am responsible for deciding what information I share through the program and must not disclose confidential, commercially sensitive, personal, customer, employee or third-party information unless I am authorised to do so and have considered the associated privacy, confidentiality, security and contractual risks. I acknowledge that information shared with AI tools or third-party technology platforms may be processed, stored or transmitted by those systems, and neither Noosa Council, Peregian Digital Hub, program funders, mentors nor delivery partners guarantee the confidentiality, privacy or security of information processed through third-party systems.
7. Any mentoring, voucher, prototype or proof-of-concept support provided through the program is exploratory in nature and is not a finished software product, managed service, implementation service or guarantee of results.
8. Third-party mentors, providers and technology platforms may be involved in delivering parts of the program and may be subject to their own terms and conditions.
9. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Noosa Council, Peregian Digital Hub, program funders, mentors, technical providers and delivery partners are not liable for any loss, damage, cost or claim arising from my participation in the program or my use of any information, recommendations, AI tools, outputs, prototypes or proof-of-concept support, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
