Mastering Generative AI: Upstream Sessions Overview and Upcoming Workshops

Back to Posts

Our “Upstream” sessions aim to help our members be in the top 0.1% of generative AI users and builders. The idea of being upstream of AI is that you figure out how to benefit from it rather than be downstream and have AI happen to you.

Recently we’ve covered advanced use of ChatGPT, sophisticated prompt engineering techniques, using RAG to tap into existing data sources, and how to use massive context windows (like Gemini 1.5) for automating RFP responses.

This week we were fortunate to have Max Brodeur-Urbas, co-founder of Gumloop (YC W24) zoom in from Vancouver to run a workshop for members on how to use Gumloop’s no-code automation platform to build powerful workflows for content creation, lead generation, and admin processes. The company was recently incubated in Ycombinator’s winter ‘24 batch and is becoming the goto tool for early adopters of AI automation, bringing reliability to agent-style workflows.

Next in our Upstream sessions: Yash Tekriwal 🤔 from Clay on using their AI-powered outbound lead activity, and Ian Hansel from Verge Labs on how to get the most out of Claude Artifacts.
