There is plenty of marketing designed to make business owners feel late to AI. Ignore it. The useful stuff has only recently become practical for ordinary teams.
Uplift is our four-week program for Sunshine Coast businesses that want to use AI in their own work, with their own information. The starting point is a problem from the business, not a demo made for somebody else.
The third cohort starts at the Hub’s AI Lab on 8 October. Each Thursday morning, participants will work through the things that make AI useful inside a business: collecting the knowledge that is scattered across people and documents, giving agents enough context without handing over everything, spotting weak outputs, handling more inbound work and building small tools for operations or clients.
The workshops are hands-on. Participants bring a problem from their own business and compare notes with people doing the same. In earlier cohorts, a local manufacturer built a quoting tool that doubled its proposal output. An engineering firm automated task routing from factory-floor conversations. A consultancy sped up parts of its compliance audit process.
The program costs $293 per business. You can bring up to three people so the knowledge stays with the business.
Applications close on 1 October. Apply for Uplift.
